FAQ
What are the benefits of this retreat?
Our retreat is carefully planned to provide a complete approach to wellness. We combine different types of yoga like Yin, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa to create balance in your body, mind, and soul.
Do I need to arrange a visa?
Yes. You can now apply for an Online Visa to visit the United Republic of Tanzania (both Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar). You are required to fill in the online form, make payment, and submit your application online. Alternatively, it is possible to acquire visa on arrival at the airport.
What is the main currency used in Zanzibar?
The primary currencies widely used in Zanzibar are US Dollars and Tanzanian Shillings. Upon your arrival at the airport, you can conveniently withdraw local currency from ATMs, including the one near Nungwi. Alternatively, currency exchange services are available at the airport. Please be aware that there is a daily withdrawal limit of 400,000 Tanzanian Shillings.
Given Zanzibar's predominant Muslim culture, is it advisable to dress modestly?
Zanzibar, known for its Muslim culture, encourages modest attire, especially when navigating through village areas. While beach areas permit bikinis and less modest clothing, it’s advisable to dress conservatively in other parts of the island. We suggest packing 1-2 long skirts or dresses, 1-2 t-shirts, in addition to your casual wear, particularly essential for our excursion to Stone Town.
